ABOUT ME
Featured Review
I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2018 with a Bachelors of Science in Journalism. I have written about the history of moonshine in the Appalachians, DIY music scenes, local businesses and cultural events in Boone, North Carolina.
I have always been a fan of storytellers and writing, and knew it was something I wanted to do. I also hold a strong belief that a democracy works best when the public is well and thoroughly informed - not only about politics but a number of things including science, business, arts and literature. Through journalism, I hope to leave a decent impact in the communities I find myself in.
On this blog I plan to cover a wide variety of topics: literature, film, music, current events, the state of social media as it relates to society at large, etc.
